A ROCKIN' RED LION !

THE LION'S DEN- THE RED LION, HOCKLEY. 27th NOVEMBER 2004

Once again a big thanks to all of those who turned up. We were graced again by the full might (if that's the right word) of Ian Rushbury on loan from Anarakula, on a full drum kit.The lad did well and helped us make the Lion's Den into a "rockin' joint" ( as they use to say). We dedicated "Heroes" to the late great John Peel, I still can't believe he's gone. It was good to see our regulars dancing along and we finished with an impromptu cover of "Ain't No Sunshine"! Sterling support came from Wolverhampton's Karla Milton who gave us a set of jazzy and bluesy laid back vibes, she's got a great voice and I think she's going to go far. Ditto for Cat Chinn who stood in for her sis' Tara, and did a set of "belters" to match her beltin' voice!
