The Fools Go Acoustic!- The Bohemian Jukebox, Bulls Head , Moseley, Birmingham . June 10th 2004

We have made our debut in Birmingham's student chic area of Moseley!

We were supporting , Pete Green, with Ben Calvert and Chris Jones on the bill as well.

We re-arranged some of our songs for two acoustic sets and this gig saw the debut of Ella's accordian! She's coming out of her shell a bit these days!

Despite ignoring my request for the theme to "Captain Pugwash"!, the girl did well and "It Makes Me Wonder" sounded fabulous! We drew a small

but appreciative crowd and were asked to encore. This turned out to be a bit of a shambolic version of U2's "Party Girl", a song we've never played before

and may never play again!

Ben, the organiser, said that never before had the bar staff stopped and listened to an act and they did with us. One member of the audience described us as "a revelation!", so we must be doing something right!

Also, it was good to hear Bearwood lad Pete Green play his witty pop songs. I really enjoyed the evening!
