Artsfest Review
21st September 2007
Well, so glad to report it went much better than last year! Our sets ran on time and the event was well attended. A big thanks to the sound guys, who did an excellent job considering the large turnaround of bands.
This was a special gig also because we were joined by Alison Bann on sterling backing vocals and manic tambourine! (She's off the subs bench for Ella who is expecting soon). It was her first rock gig (she's more use to doing classical choral gigs!) and the lass did well. Waz played stonkingly (is that a word?) on "We Always Run Too Far" and our new number "1976 Anyway" got a lot of applause. The Miller man even suprised us with a stage leap (something he's never done before!). On top of that we sold some CDs. It's always a pleasure to have people prepared to buy your songs and give you good comments about the music.
