7th July 2008

The album's Birthday cake June has been such a busy and exciting month that I've completely neglected the site for ages. The Fun actually started in May with a photo shoot in Warley Woods. We were taking photos for generall publicity and also for the album artwork. Andy Thorpe was the most excellent photographer and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts.
The next big event was the Album Preview Party which was held at Atticus in Bearwood. There was a tremendous cake to mark the birth of the new album, WHAT'S NEXT DAD?, and lots of gorgeous food provided by Darren Lince, the chef at Atticus. It was also great for the band to get together socially for a change which made for a most splendid afternoon.

The next outing was the HARBORNE CARNIVAL. We were stripped back to an acoustic four piece for this one due to the absences of Ian and Waz, but we made the most of what turned out to be a very good day.

Sunday 29thand we were back at Atticus for an afternoon acoustic show. With the Support of the ever brilliant ETHEL VINCE and the most excellent URISK, who will also be supporting us at the ALBUM LAUNCH SHOW, it was a fine afternoon of acoustic music.

Katy Fitzgerald's in Stourbridge was the next stop on Friday 4th July. Back to the full rocking line-up and boy did we rock! Despite what you may hear on myspace and other sources this was a very good gig. The sound was great and we played a blinder. Mark even managed without his idiot sheets which was a big step for him. He should have more faith in his ability and talent.

And so into the future...
